Terms of Sale & Refunds

What you’re buying
Digital books — PDF files, set in large, comfortable type, made to read on any tablet or computer and to print at home if you’d rather hold paper. Every purchase is a one-time purchase: no subscription, no recurring charge, no “membership” — ever. The files are yours to keep and to print for your own household.
Delivery
Instant. The moment your order goes through, the checkout page hands you the files and a receipt email arrives with the download links. If anything fails to arrive, write to [email protected] — a person answers, usually the same day.
The Cited-Source Guarantee
Two promises, not one:
- Seven days, every cent back. Read it, and if it doesn’t earn its place on your shelf, write us within 7 days of purchase and you get a full refund. No questions, no forms.
- Every figure traces to its source. If a figure doesn’t trace to the order, bulletin, table and page we cite for it, tell us: we correct the record in the next edition — however long after your purchase you find it — and the corrected file goes to everyone who already bought, at no charge. This promise has no deadline. It is not the refund window and does not end with it. Every correction is written down, dated, and left standing on the corrections page; the bibliography you would check a figure against is on the sources page, free to read whether you buy or not.
How refunds work
Write to [email protected] from the email address you bought with. The refund goes back to your original payment method, normally within a few business days. That’s the whole procedure. Refunds are processed through our checkout provider (Payhip/PayPal).
Honest prices
When we print a founding price and a date, the price truly rises on that date — and it doesn’t quietly come back. No countdown clocks, no counters, no games. If a page here ever says a price ends, it ends.
Payment and your statement
Checkout is handled by our bookshop processor, so cards and PayPal are accepted and your card details never pass through us — we never see or store your card number. Your bank statement may show the processor’s name rather than ours; your receipt email will always say exactly what you bought.
Who we are
The Home Front Archive is published by History Empire, the independent publisher behind the YouTube channel of the same name. Questions before or after buying: [email protected] — a person reads every letter.
About the content
Everything we publish is educational and historical — a record of the wartime economy and what people lived through in their time. It is history, not financial advice. How we handle your data is on the privacy page.
